Their wool is 100% produced by Uruguayan farms that allow their free-range sheep to wander through the hills and are herded by old-style shepherds. They do not participate in the controversial practice of mulesing and sheep are sheared pre-lambing. They are committed to achieving the highest standards of ethical sheep husbandry. This knitted up beautifully, is wonderfully soft and when paired with the Pink Lemonade pom made my friend over-the-moon happy with her beanie! I'd make it again in a heartbeat. If you add a Blue Steel pom to make a double-pom, it adds a quirky animal vibe and the colors make me smile.
